It's on 9th Street which is BUSY especially in the morning and evening. Sometimes the traffic backs up to that house which is towards the upper end of the 9th Street Hill. You also have to deal with the historical society should you want to make changes to the property (I think). It is on "The Historic 9th Street Hill". I'd also like to know if Lafayette has additional fees or taxes for a wood burning fireplace? Whatever the fee or tax is times that by 3, it seems wasteful. Although a fireplace is a romantic notion you'd have to truck your wood in, it's not like you could chop it down on the back 40, it's a smaller city lot! All in all it is a bargain but the video presentation was certainly a kind one. Leslie, how did you manage to get that house on the Today Show eh? Those were some serious strings to pull!!!
