Your information is good, but I’ve been trying for over a year now to get American Home Mortgage Servicing to modify our mortgage. We have complied with all paperwork required and even received a confirmation [several times] that we qualified. They just don’t go any further. I did make a mistake last Spring by not paying two payments [just trying to get their attention] but have made that up and am now ahead.
We really need the program. We do have some help from our County Public Housing Department trying to get things started, but they don’t seem to get anything concrete going. What do you think I should do now?
